WHERE IS MEES LOCATED

We are located in Felgueiras Portugal, This is the center of the Footwear industry. We're surrounded by Footwear suppliers and manufacturers.

WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED

We can either make a start from a design we receive from our clients. We prefer to receive a design from multiple angles. A reference image for the shape and proportions of the shoe. and a material / color guide would be helpful to receive. But we can also make a start with the creation of a technical design with the right instructions. SUBMIT YOUR DESIGN HERE

WHAT ARE THE START UP COSTS

DESIGN SERVICES: €500,- per design.
SAMPLING PROCESS: €1750,- per style.
CUSTOM OUTSOLES: €1600 - €2850 per size.
PRODUCTION: Depends on the quantities and design complexity.
The above mentioned prices are average prices, we need to review the style you are looking to create with our team in order to make an accurate quotation.

HOW CAN I REACH MEES

We're available on the email address info@mees.productions, we aim to reply our emails within 1 - 3 working days.

WHAT IS THE MOQ

The MOQ usually starts from 100 – 150 pairs per colorway, depending on the components used. Sometimes a sole supplier requires a higher MOQ like 300 – 500 pairs.

DO YOU DO PACKAGING

Based in The Netherlands, Ruben serves as a guiding force within the footwear design sector, providing assistance to brands throughout the entirety of the design journey.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE

DESIGN PROCESS: can have that ready within 1 - 3 weeks.
SAMPLING PROCESS: would take around 5 - 10 weeks.
PRODUCTION of 100 - 10.000 pairs we would need around 1 month.
For a first production we always need to create all of the tooling, the cutting knives, the last shapes, patterns. So a first production would take around 2 - 3 months to be finalized.

WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION CAPACITY

We are able to produce 100 - 25.000 pairs of shoes within 1 month.

DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE

Yes, we ship world wide. For sampling we use UPS EXPRESS. The production orders will be shipped by Boat/Plane or Truck.

CAN I ORDER FROM WHOLESALE

Most of the shoes we produce are custom made for the brands we work for. But we also have a small wholesale collection with available styles. Please see the link: www.mees.productions/links

CAN I CREATE A CUSTOM OUTSOLE

Yes, we work with 8 selected sole suppliers in our area who are able to create a custom outsole for your design. In order to start the process we would need to receive some clear design drawings from multiple angles. And a dimensions guide to understand the proportions of the outsole.

DO YOU ASSIST ON DESIGN WORK

Yes, we work with a team of freelance designers who are able to assist you on the creation of a technical design. This will be optimized and prepared for our development team to make a start with the sampling process without any delays or complications.

DO YOU PRODUCE LARGE SIZES

Yes, With Pre - made sole selections, we can create any size available. The outsole will be cutted on the size of the shoe. That means that there are no limits in making the shoe size as big as you want. With cupsoles however, this is is different. Cupsoles are only available in the sizes the molds are made in. Average size ranges would be:
36 - 46 EU
5,5 - 12,5 US

WHAT ARE THE MATERIAL OPTIONS

We are sourcing materials from 1000s of suppliers based all over the world. In most cases we will source materials from suppliers in Portugal / Italy and Spain. Using premium components and materials made by great suppliers in our area. In case you would like to source a specific material you have seen, we would be happy to start our research.

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS

The Payment for the sampling fee is required upfront. For a production we can do 50% upfront and 50% before dispatch. PRICES ARE FOB

DO YOU HAVE QUALITY CONTROL

Yes, we handle the quality control ourself. Each sample will be inspected by our team before it's shipped out to our clients. Aswel as a production run, our team will be arriving the day the production is finalized and together with the factory we will inspect each pair produced before dispatch.

DO YOU PRODUCE SPORT SHOES

Yes, we have produced many kind of athletic footwear in the past.
Such as: running shoes, golf shoes, soccer shoes, cycling shoes, basketbal shoes, Dancing shoes, Hiking shoes, and Barefoot shoes.
We are able to source the right outsoles and upper materials for athletic footwear.

WHERE DO YOU PRODUCE FROM

We're based in the Felgueiras - Portugal, This is the center of the footwear industry in Portugal. And this is also where our production facilities are located. Everything is proudly made in Portugal, sourcing components and materials from top tier suppliers from Portugal, Italy and Spain.

ARE YOU ABLE TO PRODUCE HEELS

Yes, we have produced many heels types in the past. We work with premium sole / component suppliers to make any kind of heel style with stock materials. DO YOU PRODUCE KIDS SHOES

Yes we have produced many kids shoe styles in the past, You can find more information in the following LINK We have Sole components available in different children sizes and are able to create custom outsoles if needed.
